International (MNN) — Jesus Film Project’s online outreach team runs both photo and video ads in places around the world that are the most unreached by the Gospel. These various ads feature artistic images of Jesus and powerful Scripture.
The minute someone clicks on the ad, they can start to chat live with a member of Jesus Film Project’s team.
Catherine Miller* with Jesus Film Project says as these messages come in, the team promptly connects with each seeker. “How ever they respond with positive interest, we’ll share the Gospel immediately with them in a very highly contextualized way for their background. Then we’ll continue the conversation with people who are interested.
“A guy messaged me from one place where there had been a bombing. He said, ‘I lost my brother, my sister, my wife, my entire family, and my home.’
“In that moment, I just shared with him [that] I empathize so deeply…. Then I shared with him directly, ‘Jesus is the only one that can meet you in this loss.’”

During that very first conversation infused with Gospel hope, this grieving man began a relationship with Jesus Christ!
Many people entering these Gospel conversations come from countries where it is extremely dangerous to be a Christian. If their family or friends found out, their very lives would be at risk.
But the Holy Spirit is drawing people to desire more information about Jesus and the Bible. Some even have had dreams and visions of Jesus Christ that prompt them to seek.
Miller says one man they spoke with “shared that Jesus woke him up and told him that he was on the wrong path. Ever since then, the man had been searching for the true way.”
In the last month, Jesus Film Project saw 109 people begin relationships with Jesus Christ as a direct result of this online ministry!
The online outreach team continues to follow up with and disciple these new believers daily. Not only that, but these new believers are sharing their faith with others and seeing a ripple effect of friends and family embracing the Gospel!
Please join Jesus Film Project and their online ministry team in prayer. Miller shares, “We’re just asking the Lord, ‘Would your Holy Spirit be like a flood that comes across these nations in a way that transforms not just a single person, but entire family’s entire communities, and ultimately, generations and generations!’ We’re praying really big, bold, audacious things.”

Pray also for those who are searching or coming to new faith in Jesus within dangerous contexts. It can be incredibly difficult for these Christians to safely find other believers for encouragement and support
But as the Lord led Ananias to the newly-redeemed Paul (Acts 9:10-19), Miller says, “We are constantly praying that new believers would encounter people around them who are already also searching.”
