Chick-Fil-A and Living Water International partner together

USA (MNN) — Recently, a Chick-Fil-A restaurant in Pearland,
Texas, and Living Water International have partnered together to provide clean water to those who need it most.

The partnership began several months ago when the
Chick-Fil-A approached LWI to help them with their water projects. Chick-Fil-A's
purpose is "to glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted
to them."

"The Pearland team couldn't imagine a better exercise of
stewardship than providing clean water to those who need it most," Brandon Baca
wrote on LWI's Web site.

Thus, the "PLUS $ONE" campaign developed. Now, the Pearland Chick-Fil-A
asks each of their customers to add one dollar to their order to help fund LWI's
water projects. This one dollar can provide one person with clean water for a
year, according to LWI.

Last month, the campaign began with a successful launch
party, which included live music, a full parking lot and lots of one dollar
bills.

"The impact reaches far beyond those who graciously add $1
to their order," Baca wrote. "The Chick-Fil-A staff has been personally
impacted as well; many of them are high school and college students who are
hearing about the water crisis for the first time and becoming advocates for
the thirsty."

Living Water said the excitement is growing, and they can
even see other Chick-Fil-A's joining the campaign. They also thanked Chick-Fil-A
for their partnership and their willingness to provide water in Jesus' name.
