Food For The Poor mobilizes to help tsunami victims.

Indonesia (MNN)–Food For The Poor shipped over 50 tractor-trailer loads of emergency relief supplies to Indonesia to the hardest hit of the tsunami disaster areas in Asia.

The containers consist of food, including nutritional bars and protein drinks, water, and medical supplies including antibiotics, hygiene kits and other medicines.
Another 420 containers of food, medical supplies and other lifesaving necessities have been promised for relief efforts in the devastated areas.

FFP needs the funding to get these supplies to those who need it most. Teams are also transporting medical supplies by airlift.

The local church, along with an area partner, are working with the distribution in the name of Christ. Please pray for those thousands who are suffering, and consider how you can respond.
