Headlining today’s news, mission organizations are concerned about Indonesia’s request for the United States to withdraw its ambassador. Indonesia claims the ambassador is interfering with internal affairs. Gospel Revival Ministries’ Rich Brown says the ability to minister there is already difficult. “We have a mission station in Malaysia with outreaches into Indonesia and we’re very concerned about the turns of the government there. We have already experienced difficulties in our attempts to distribute GRM literature. Most packages are arriving opened and many packages don’t arrive at all. Over attempts to communicate openly with our native workers there have been met with difficulty.” According to Brown this news could make a situation that’s already bad – worse.
