USA (WYC/MNN) — World Bible Translation Day falls each year on September 30, and this year Wycliffe Bible Translators USA is celebrating in style.

“The Scripture Celebration is always an energized and exciting time for rejoicing in the incredible work God has been doing through us and our partners,” says Bob Creson, president of Wycliffe USA.

“Please come celebrate with us as we look back at 16 newly completed translations of Scripture.”

Tomorrow, at 10:00am on World Bible Translation Day 2015, Wycliffe USA is opening its annual Scripture Celebration to the public.

Traditionally reserved for Wycliffe USA staff and supporters, the annual Scripture Celebration includes a parade of participants in the traditional attire of cultures found all over the world.

This year’s event will celebrate the completion of Scripture in 16 different language communities from the following countries: Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana, Senegal, Myanmar, parts of Asia, the Philippines, Mexico, Papua New Guinea, Colombia, and Peru.

The Scripture Celebration also includes a time of worship, stories about God’s faithfulness and goodness, and videos from various language communities.

It’s okay if you don’t live near Orlando, or even the U.S. You can join the event through a live-stream link here.

As Wycliffe USA rejoices over 16 new language translations, pray that the communities receiving God’s Word will come to Christ.
