(Mexico City)–And, local church members handed out over a million New Testaments in Mexico City last year. The distribution was part of the “Mexico City 2001” project launched by the Bible League. According to the League, the goal was to encourage continued study of the Bible and growth in the local church. The Bible League staff will kick off a similar project in Monterrey, Mexico, after Easter. The goal of this year-long project will be to reach half a million people in Monterrey with a New Testaments and an invitation to study the Bible.
