(Jamaica)–Next, New York City firefighters and police officers who gave their lives on September 11th are being remembered for their service. But, the memorial is taking place in Jamaica. Food for the Poor, a Florida based Christian charity, is sharing Christ’s love with the poorest of the poor there by building homes for them. Agency officials say for each of the rescuers who died in the World Trade Center, a house has been dedicated in their honor. Work teams and donations are still needed.
