(Nepal)–Meanwhile, the Church Around the World reports that more than 13-hundred Himalayan pastors recently gathered in Nepal for four days of training. It was the first Christian pastors’ conference to be held in Nepal, the world’s only Hindu kingdom and birthplace of Buddha. The typical Nepalese pastor has been a believer in Christ for less than two years. The number of Christians in Nepal has increased from only about 100 in 1950 to an estimated 350-thousand today.
