Next, the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted church is a little more than two weeks away. On November 12th more than 300-thousand churches in 130 countries will take part in praying for their brothers and sisters in Christ who suffer for their faith. Many think of persecution as a modern-day tragedy, but in truth persecution has been a reality for the body of Christ since the days of the apostles. Churches not yet a part of the program are urged to contact persecutedchurch-dot-org to find out how to participate.
