(Sudan) — A challenge to reach the Islamic world with the Gospel was received enthusiastically at a rare conference in Sudan – a country mired in civil war. According to Doctor David Shibley with Global Advance, in the midst of a nation known for repression of Christians, 35-hundred pastors, evangelists and lay leaders were able to meet on government property in Khartoum. Shibley says hundreds of them committed to plant new churches in the region and to raise up a new missionary force for the Muslim world.
