(Brazil)–Proclaiming the birth of a “new Brazil”, the country’s President-elect is promising change and new priorities. The change is coming at a time where the church body is also on the verge of taking on new direction. For example, Insight For Living’s Rolla Goodyear says their search for a new radio pastor for the Brazilian ministry has taken them a little over three years; the search is at an end. “I am excited to say that I believe we have found a replacement in a pastor in San Paulo, Brazil. He seems to be the man that God has brought to the table for us. He is well-trained, theologically, and he has a true pastor’s heart.” Goodyear adds that with a new pastor in place, their outreach has a breath of life. “We are very excited about the prospect of beginning to record a new series down there, because we have been re-airing many of our old broadcasts.”
