(Nepal)–Compass Direct News reports that four detained Christians in Nepal were to be released this week. The four were arrested on trumped-up proselytism charges, but the judge dismissed the case this week. The arrests came after 15 extremists began to attack Christians holding a two-day seminar in a local Baptist church. Proselytizing is banned in Nepal and carries a three-year jail penalty, but so far no one has been fully prosecuted. Please continue to pray for believers in the area as aggression against Christians is on the rise.
