(Peru)–Next, Food for the Hungry is also reaching out to Peru’s hardest hit quake victims. The group is sending money to help 2,000 families. Funds will purchase sugar, tuna fish, rice and cooking oil. Food for the Hungry says the feeding center is operated by a partner international relief and development agency, which works long-term sustainable development programs in the area. Food for the Hungry is an international organization that exists to fulfill a God-given mandate to help people overcome both physical and spiritual hungers.
