(Peru)–Next, Christian Blind Mission International reports that the catastrophic earthquake that hit Peru wreaked havoc on the “Light and Hope” Rehabilitation Center for the Blind. The center has been supported by CBMI for the last quarter century. Damages were lighter at the school for the blind, and no injuries were reported. CBMI works in partnership with other organizations seeking to bring physical help and spiritual hope to people with disabilities in developing nations.
