(Kazakhstan)–Next, there are reports that Kazakhstan’s President is not going to appeal against the Constitutional Court’s decision on a restrictive religion law. According to Keston News, proposed amendments to the law on religion are at odds with the country’s constitution. A number of church leaders and missionaries have welcomed the decision, although some fear the process of trying to amend the country’s religion law could begin all over again. Please pray that the door remains open for evangelistic work.
