(India)–Meanwhile, the winds of change are blowing in India. Numerous mission agencies have begun reporting both an increase in harassment against them, and conversely, a large response to the Gospel from the lowest caste population. Gospel Revival Ministries’ John Musser says their work is meeting with encouraging response. “Some of our directors went through some real persecution with local governments because we were supporting too many national workers, and so, we had to change a lot of our names, but, we implemented some social programs. Ever since we implemented those things, we’ve had nothing but the blessing of the government in all the regions we work in.” However, Musser asks believers to pray for their outreaches in India, adding that they are preparing their workers for change. “To be forewarned is to be forearmed. I would encourage people to do as we have done-help society, help the people; but, never stop giving out the Gospel of Jesus Christ and being aggressive in evangelism.”
