Story number 2 for 2 Aug 2001

(Vietnam) — Next, an incredible opportunity is presenting itself to an evangelical medical missions team. Operation Blessing has been invited to Vietnam and the 46-member team will be traveling there August 4th. OBI’s Dick Kohl. “Operation Blessing has the opportunity to go to Da Nang with a medical team, which we’re told is one of the largest medical teams that they’ve ever invited in to the country. We’re gonna be working at three local hospitals. An eye hospital, a general surgery hospital and then we’re going to be doing a medical clinic.” Kohl is asking Christians around the world to pray for this team. “We need to pray for this team that they will have safety and that they will just be able to see 7,000 to 8,000 patients, that’s what we’re shooting for our goal. And, we just ask that the Lord would bless them and encourage them and keep them healthy. Let the Lord plant the seeds.” Kohl is hoping this trip will open the door to allow them to take the flying hospital into Vietnam next year.
