Headlining today’s news, Christians in India fear a new wave of persecution. According to Christian leaders, government officials in Gujarat state are requiring Christian schools to release information about funding sources. Christians relying on outside financial assistance are concerned. Gospel Revival Ministries’ John Musser says as a funding organization, they’re concerned. “It’s against the law to bring funds into the country on the basis of Christian work, so we can’t talk about our native pastors, building churches, any of these types of things. So, we are coming in as a social worker.” Musser outlines what’s happening with Gospel Revival Ministries. “We’ve had a few of instances recently where banking systems are withholding our money from our native pastors. We feel that there’s some type of government intervention taking place.” Musser says despite the problems many are coming to Christ.
