USA (MNN) — Christians are mourning the death of Adrian Rogers, former president of the Southern Baptist Convention and widely known as a leader of the Conservative Resurgence within the SBC.
He died Tuesday, following a battle with cancer and double pneumonia. Rogers is survived by his wife, Joyce, four children, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was 74 years old.
Millions of believers in more than 150 countries worldwide knew Rogers through his Love Worth Finding television and radio ministry.
