— Evangelist Sammy Tippit will be conducting the "Praying for Your Family"seminar in Toronto, Canada, at the end of this month,
June 21-24. This follows the April launch of the seminar in Nappanee, Indiana.
For Tippit, it was the first time to lead a church through
an entire seminar. Prayer was emphasized, and there were several opportunities for people to pray with others about their
family needs.
At the close of the Indiana
session on Praying for Your Children, approximately two-thirds of the
audience stood asking for prayer for wayward children and grandchildren. Many
participants committed themselves to setting aside a time to seek God for their
families.
A movement of prayer can be launched in church or in a Bible
study group. Tippit is a firm believer that "Revival in the land begins with revival in our homes." Because of the expressed interest, Sammy
Tippit Ministries plans to conduct six more seminars throughout the United States and Canada in the near future.
Following the Canada seminar, Tippit will be
taking some time off to recover from cancer surgery.
