International (MNN/PIONEERS) — Before you can serve someone, you need to understand what they need. Starting a life or ministry in a foreign culture can be overwhelming, and you may not know where to start. PIONEERS has a solution to the gap between the desire to serve and the knowledge you need to do it right: launch teams.
PIONEERS launch teams act as starting points for new missionaries. Teams of long-term church planters mentor new pioneers for up to two years, helping them with the language and culture.
Launch Team missionaries will explore areas where they can serve, such as the Amazon, India, Japan, Nile, Kasbah, East Asia, and more.
With 960 million Hindus, 138 million Muslims, 10 million Buddhists, and 21 million Sikhs, India is indisputably in need of the gospel. In order to reach the people of India, training in culture, language, and church planting is essential. Pioneers’ India Launch will help facilitate your training in culture, language and church planting while helping you–as a new member of Pioneers–explore other teams and opportunities available after your two years of training are finished.
The East Islands launch team in Southeast Asia is situated in a gateway city to nearly 50 unreached people groups. These people groups have never heard the name of Christ or the Gospel story of his love and redemption for them.
PIONEERS’ launch teams will get you on-the-field training in ministry in countries around the world. To explore opportunities, click here.
