USA (MNN) — If you haven't heard of the JESUS Film, you're
one of only a handful of people in the world that hasn't seen the story of the life of
Christ taken completely from Luke's Gospel.
According to the most recent statistics, the JESUS Film
Project is just 26 languages away from the 1,000 mark. With 216 translations of
the film in process, the ministry is close to hitting that milestone.
According to the JESUS Film Project, the film and audio has
now been translated into 974 languages. Coupled
with the audio version. these translations have allowed 6.1 billion people to
see and/or hear the Gospel message in 228 countries. 201.6 million have
indicated to have made decisions for Christ.
There are now more than 2,400 JESUS Film Project teams and it's a key resource
for evangelistic outreach. JESUS Film leaders say there are more than 1,500
denominations and mission agencies using the film as part of their ministry.
An animated version of the film is being developed. Pray
that God will continue to teach people through this film.
