USA (MNN) — The American Thanksgiving holiday is just a few weeks away.
While some people haven’t even given Thanksgiving a thought yet, CityTeam Ministries has already started planning for the large number of hungry and homeless people who will need help in the next few months.
CityTeam knows that during the holiday season, poverty-stricken people suffer more than ever. It’s also the time of year that many people decide to make big changes spiritually.
That’s why CityTeam has launched its 2006 Holiday Meal Campaign, to prepare for the tens of thousands of meals they’ll be serving the next two months. But their challenge is that they need to restock their food pantry.
