International (MNN)–For international Operation Mobilization teams, Easter week provides a great opportunity for evangelism.
In London, United Kingdom, OM Turning Point workers will be joined by volunteers to bring the love of God to Muslims living there. Team members will receive training and cultural studies of the majority faith of the 10/40 window, learn how to share Christ in a culturally sensitive way, and discover the joys and challenges of international team life.
Short-term volunteers will evangelize in inner-city Zurich, Switzerland, alongside the Global Action Zurich team. This area is known as the ‘red light district’. In partnership with local churches, team members will bring practical help and hope to some of the most despised and unwanted members of society…immigrants, drug addicts, prostitutes, alcoholics and homeless people. Pray for a lasting impact in the lives of those they meet.
And, the Easter outreach in Belgium will support the international community church reaching the Flemish and international students. People taking part talk with people and offer literature and videos. Those who are still interested in the Gospel will be followed up by the year program team. Some of the Muslim team workers will live in a Turkish quarter of Brussels, learning from immigrant community and building friendships as they seek to share their faith. Pray for efforts to share Jesus with the local Turkish community.
