Additional funds available for inner city missionaries

USA (MNN)–“Here’s Life Inner City” staff are required to raise their own support and many of their contacts are in the inner-city which makes fundraising difficult. Recently some friends of the ministry set up a Minority Matching Fund where donations to their missionaries will triple for every dollar raised. The very people who have the ability to make the strongest impact for Christ in the inner city are the ones with the greatest disadvanage therefore the Minority Matching Fund is very important.
The ethnic minority staff have a track record of outstanding success in inner-city ministry and they are praising God for their great effectiveness. Summer in the City and Urban Immersion programs have involved college students and plans are being made for this year. Boxes of Love, Homeless Care Kits, Heart & Sole shoes, and PowerPacks are given every year and the ministry following those programs continues.
The Matching Fund helps minority staff get started and build a network of support so they can get totally involved in ministry more quickly.
