USA (MNN) — Public schools in America are a key mission field. Some kids in public schools have never attended church. Others may go to church a few times on Easter or Christmas, but they don’t know the difference following Jesus can make in their lives for eternity.
Keys for Kids Ministries is reaching public school kids across the United States with the Gospel by partnering with the singing group, 3 Heath Brothers!
Keys for Kids executive director Greg Yoder says, “These 3 Heath Brothers were being invited into public schools – a Christian singing group invited into public schools and meeting literally thousands of kids in public schools!”
However, “They were telling us that they really didn’t have anything to hand out. They’d handed out a card with a QR code on it, so they had the plan of salvation, but that was it.”
Through this new collaboration, 3 Heath Brothers are now handing out Keys for Kids devotionals as they hold Christmas performances in public schools all over the US.
Yoder says, “Already since October, between 1,500 and 3,000 Keys for Kids [devotionals] have already been distributed. What’s even more exciting is that out of those handouts, we have seen well over 100-150 people that have signed up for new subscriptions.”
You can help offset the cost of these free devotionals by giving to Keys for Kids here.
“Kids are searching. They want truth. They’re looking for it,” says Yoder. “They want hope, and the only hope that they can find is in Jesus Christ alone.”
