International (MNN) — Are you looking to get away this summer and do something you have never done before? If you’ve ever wanted to climb a mountain, you could do that and much more.

Operation Mobilization is hosting their annual Freedom Climb in Colorado this year July 12-18. The four-day trip will feature climbing seven mountains, raising awareness and money for women and children projects around the world, and hearing updates about those projects.

The purpose of the Freedom Climb is to raise support that will aid the voiceless from every country. This primarily includes women and children who are oppressed in slavery. OM wants to bring hope to the hopeless and share the love of Christ in very real way.

In order to go on this trip, you must be a woman 18 or older, have a heart to be Christ to the nations, and raise $3,000 by June 1. This money goes to fund the projects that the group will be learning about. The trip costs $800 for each individual.

The group will summit these peaks: Mt. Elbert, Mt. Democrat, Mt. Lincoln, Mt. Bross, Torreys Peak, Grays Peak, and Quandary Peak. The climbing is symbolic of the struggle that women and children face each day. It is a very real challenge that engages the battle against oppression.

If you are interested in Freedom Climb 2014, hurry to check it out. Registration closes April 15. Even if this trip is not for you, pray that the participants will be able to raise the money and impact the world in a big way for Jesus.
