Uganda (MNN)–Recent estimates place the AIDS orphan numbers in Uganda at more than 13 million children.
In response, Global Aid Network partners with Noah’s Ark Children’s Home, a Christian-led home for orphans and abandoned children.
Noah’s Ark Children’s Home began with a rented house with five bedrooms and a small playground which could house 20 babies up to two years old. But because of the tremendous need, they’re already overcrowded.
Because they’re trying to share their vision for outreach in the country, they’re taking a team in November for a hands-on opportunity not only at the Children’s home, but also in the surrounding areas.
They’ll be evangelizing nearby villages and homes with the “JESUS” film as well as working with local schools. GAiN teams like to be able to respond to new opportunities as they arise.
That means they need a growing team of flexible people. Matthew 9:37-38 holds true today: “…The harvest is plentiful, but he workers are few. Therefore, beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”
