A Bible Institute graduates its inaugural class.

By July 1, 2005

Uganda (MNN)–The first class of the Uganda Bible Institute, or UBI (pictured here, one of the buildings under construction), just graduated last month.

Africa Inland Mission teams are making plans now for new classes coming in August. Instructors are working to offer relevant courses in an efficient schedule.

So far, 21 of 23 lay leaders in the first Institute class have now been ordained for ministry. The chief aim of Uganda Bible Institute is to strengthen the Church in Uganda.

They do this by equipping church leaders with the necessary skills to understand and teach the Bible in order to reach their congregations and non-believers effectively.

Please pray for wisdom and priorities in the plans for future classes.
