Pastors from closed country receive pastoral training.

Middle East (MNN) — One nation in the Muslim world is seeing a significant increase in the number of Christians. The country can’t be named because of security reasons. However, pastors are receiving pastoral training outside the country and taking it back with them thanks to the ministry of Sammy Tippit Ministries.

Pastors in this country say many are turning to Christ. Evangelist Sammy Tippit shares one of those stories. “I heard testamonies today about an entire village coming to Christ. A man was going to the Mosque and he saw a light and heard the voice of the Lord speaking to him. He didn’t know what to do with it, so he found a church and gave his heart to Christ. And, as a result of it most of the village has come to Christ.”

Tippit is spearheading the training. He’s currently in the Middle East holding a conference for pastors from this closed country. Tippit says there’s one exciting aspect of this training. He says it’s being video taped. “We’re trying to produce some resources that can be brought back into the country. We’ve made DVD’s, we’ve made CD’s so that they can go back and this can be multiplied because the great, great need is to raise up a new generation who can handle all of the people who are coming to Christ.”

Sammy Tippit Ministries has also secured time on cable television to share the Gospel in the region next year. “(We’ll be broadcasting) as far east as India (and) as far West as Iran. We will have 100 million people that we will be able to present the Gospel to next year. What we need is prayer partners.”
