(International)–And, nearly a third of the world’s population is under the age of 15, with 85-percent growing up in developing nations. International Bible Society’s Lareau Anderson says this provides a demographic mission field that has moving potential. “You look at some of these needs, and its really just staggering. And as an organization, as a ministry to children around the world, we take this very seriously and say probably one of the greatest things that we can do as an organization is to reach out and to minister to children because they are a huge, huge part of our future.” Anderson says the current events add complexity to issues facing children today, and so too, their needs. “How can you present the Gospel to them in a way that really, really makes sense? So, we produced targeted and designed Scripture booklets that are very colorful, that help the children identify with their situation, and very specific Scripture verses that help them understand that God loves them; that God has a plan for them.”
