(USA)–And, Heather Mercer is sharing her testimony of life as a prisoner in Afghanistan. She is International Aid’s featured speaker next week. Mercer, a Christian aid worker, was arrested in Afghanistan and held hostage in Kabul during the U-S efforts to overthrow the Taliban. Marking the one-year anniversary of her release from prison, she’ll be sharing how the experience helped her share her faith. International Aid will give an update on their relief and development efforts in Afghanistan.
