Story number 3 for 6 Sep 2002

(Uganda)–Late last month, Food for the Hungry reported that a rebel group had kidnapped several of the sponsored children they’re working with in Uganda. This week, they say two girls and one boy were returned home after spending nearly one month in captivity with the Lord’s Resistance Army. Continue to pray for the safety of one sponsored child still in the hands of the rebel group. Many families fear tomorrow. Despite the uncertainty, God continues to work in the region and in the hearts of the LRA.
