(Uganda)–Next, Food for the Hungry staff in Uganda report that the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA), a rebel group in northern Uganda, is on the offensive again. They attacked two of the agency’s Child Sponsorship communities, earlier this month. While no families or children were injured, the rebels remain near their villages and may come back any night. Please pray for God’s protection of children and families in northern Uganda. Food for the Hungry exists to fulfill a God-given mandate to help people overcome both physical and spiritual hungers.
