(International)–Churches are being encouraged to begin planning now for the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. This year’s event, which is sponsored by eight groups, is scheduled for November 10th. The International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church is held each year to help people understand the plight of Christians living in countries closed to the Gospel. In September, The World Evangelical Alliance will begin offering materials to help churches plan for this special day.
