(India)–Headlining today’s news, Christians in India are mourning the death of a Bible school student along the India/Pakistan border. Gospel for Asia’s KP Yohannan is in India. He says while they were forced to close their Bible school because of the tensions in the predominately Muslim region of Kashmir, the Bible school students used the opportunity to minister. “Personal evangelism within the state itself. And, one of our students that went for outreach in a particular village he was murdered. And, later, our people concluded this was done by some radical fundamental Muslims.” Yohannan says this student’s death is not changing the face of outreach in Kashmir. “This incident only strengthened the determination and courage of our pastor, evangelists, and missionaries and the students at large. Not one person wanted to leave the mission field.” 30-dollars a month can help support a Gospel For Asia pastor and student in this region.
