Operation Mobilization’s Lane Powell explains. “Well, I think one of the first things that we’re noticing about the current situation in Israel and its affect on the ministry is that there are actually just are fewer people wanting to go and serve there in ministry. It seems to be keep the numbers down at bit and our folks there could use some additional staff beside them.” According to Powell Christians should be praying for workers there. “The obvious is to pray for protection and that the work would be able to continue in this time. Also, that they would just have a peace that they’re in the right place – that this is where God has them and that they would be able to focus on the ministry and not be overcome with fear, which can be paralyzing.”
