(Burkina Faso)–Animists have reportedly attacked a Christian and Missionary Alliance church in Burkina Faso. According to the C&MA, 25 Christians and their children were confronted by a machete-waving mob. The animists told the believers that, unless they renounce their faith, they would never be allowed to return to their homes. Then, the church and the pastor’s house were pillaged. Believers in nearby villages are sheltering the Christians. The situation is being mediated, and prayer is needed for God’s peace to prevail.
