(USA)–And finally, some do not consider Gullah, a mixture of English and West African languages, to be a true language. But a group of Sea Islanders is helping Wycliffe translate the Scriptures in this lost language. They are hoping to see the translated New Testament printed soon. Gullah Luke is already in print and very well received. JAARS provides technical support services and resources to speed Bible translation. This includes the vernacular media services that helped with the Gullah project.
