(Sudan)–Meanwhile, African newspapers are reporting that thousands of people are living in misery in refugee camps in northern Sudan. Church sources say continued raids on civilians in the area by Arab and Muslim militias have only made the situation worse. Sudanese relief authorities are appealing to Christians and their relief agencies to respond to the physical and spiritual crisis. They are asking for non-food items like tools, sleeping materials, clothes and medicines, as well as food items.
