(International)–Elsewhere, D & D Missionary Homes says the events of 2001 have taken their toll on evangelistic outreach around the world. D & D’s Phil Fogle encourages believers to support the workers who are taking the Gospel to remote and dangerous areas. “Hold up the missionaries to the Lord in prayer through these lonely times that many of them have. We need to pray that God will remove loneliness, that God will bring other people into their lives at this time of year, that can encourage them and just lift them up.” Fogle says the financial impact of this year is also having an impact on D&D’s budget. However, Fogle says that won’t deter them. “In our particular case here, we’re driving on. We are looking to the next year as though God is going to bless immensely. In faith, we are going to move on strongly with the programs that we had already planned.”
