(Latin America)–Next, missionaries from many countries are reporting that the tragedy in the U.S. has brought expressions of sympathy from church members and returned the people to prayer. Latin America Mission’s Ken MacHarg reports. “In Spain, LAM missionary Carolyn Kerr says that one neighbor who has been resistant to the Gospel visited her to express her sympathy and remember all that Carolyn and her husband have done to help her. From Argentina, Ralph Tone says that over 400,000 Christians gathered at a downtown monument to pray for world peace. And in Mexico, LAM missionary Sue Leak reports that the churches have set up times of fasting and vigils of prayer. She says they are seeking God’s face for the future as well as praying that many will turn to the Lord in this time of crisis. Sue says that she feels a true sense of urgency to share the Lord with everyone that she can. For Mission Network News, I’m Ken MacHarg in Miami.”
