(China) — Meanwhile, now that Beijing has been granted the 2008 Olympics, the expected crackdown on Christian leaders is intensifying. That’s the word from Voice of the Martyrs Tom White. White says Pastor Li Daxian was arrested on July 26th after he had opened a house church meeting in Hua Du. After Li’s arrest Public Security Bureau officers returned to the church, closed the meeting, and arrested Li’s co-worker Ah Kong. Li has been arrested 18 times within the past 18 months.
