Our focus now shifts to Russian Ministries, where the staff is reflecting on the accomplishments of their founder and president, Peter Deyneka. Ministry spokesman Andrew Semenchuk says Deyneka went home to be with the Lord December 23rd, following a six-month battle with lymphoma. “January 1rst, it will be 50 years. We went out to Europe to start work amongst refugees and displaced people. Today, we not only have Slavic Gospel Association, Peter Deyneka Russian Ministries, but 300 other strong evangelical missions.” Semenchuk says Deyneka’s legacy lives on and they are looking forward to seeing the Great Commission come to fruition. “Pray for George Law, as he takes over the reigns of the organization. And then, pray for us during this transition that the work will continue to grow.”
