Next, the poverty of Haiti has created a culture of child slavery, which will thrive as long as nothing is done to help the children find a way out. Food for the Poor is working to increase aid to help Haitian children escape the traditional system of servitude. The organization is trying to raise funds to increase the outreach of their programs and centers. FFP provides education, shelter, food and medical care for servant children while working to reunite them with their real families. Through these programs, they are also able to share the love of Christ.
