Meanwhile, the sentencing of a former Muslim for converting to Christianity is on hold in Yemen. According to Compass Direct, the sentencing will be delayed until July 19th. On July 5th Mohammad Haji, a Somali refugee, was give a seven day ultimatum to either return to Islam or face the death penalty for committing apostasy. Haji’s attorney says the court may consider deporting Haji, his wife and seven month old son. The 27-year-old came to Christ two years ago.
