Headlining today’s news, while many Christian mission groups are reporting an increase in persecution against them, we look at one group that continues to minister. Ramabai Mukti Mission’s David Scott puts oppression in perspective. “The persecution in India is clearly getting worse. I talked with an Indian man who’s on our council he said there were several people that were hurt in the area where he is. Another ministry, they had burned a lot of their materials and they wrecked a mini bus that they used for transporting children.” While expansion into Orissa State has been put on hold, Scott says vacation Bible school is just one of the many activities moving forward. “We had one at our main campus. We had over 200 children, most of them were our children, but some of them were also from the school, which were of course, Hindu people. And, we had 10 decisions to go into full time Christian work from this group.”
