Ukraine (MNN) – [Ministry leaders in war-torn Ukraine partnering with Slavic Gospel Association (SGA) are sharing praise reports about summer Bible camps. What follows is a report shared on SGA’s website by a partnering pastor.]
With all the tragic news from Ukraine over the past couple of years, we are rejoicing at the wonderful reports we are receiving about how God is blessing the summer camp ministries of the churches.
SGA-sponsored missionary pastor Nikolai Mironchuk led a church camp in the village of Orzhev. He wrote to praise the Lord for how He worked in the children’s hearts, as well as older teenagers . . .
This year 200 children attended! We held the camp for six days. In the morning, we conducted meetings for children between the ages of 7 and 15, and in the evening we had meetings for teenagers and youth. We went to the forest where we played games, listened to the testimonies of how leaders and others came to repent and trust in Christ, and also witnessed to the parents.
It was such a blessed opportunity. I have asked our partners to pray for our sons, Daniel and Mark. Both of them repented and trusted in Christ at the camp! Praise God! I thank you so much for your prayers!
There are still several weeks left in the summer camp season across the Commonwealth of Independent States. Please continue to intercede in prayer, asking God to draw many more children (and adults) to Himself.
“He is your praise and He is your God, who has done these great and awesome things for you which your eyes have seen.” (Deuteronomy 10:21).
