Guatemala (MNN) — It was an exciting day in Guatemala as 
children sponsored through Orphan’s Heart received new school supplies. Each child was given a backpack filled with an assortment of items: pens, pencils, notebooks, scissors, markers, glue, and more. They were thrilled with their packets and eagerly showed them to their family members. For many, this marked the first time they owned their own backpack or set of crayons; they could hardly contain their excitement.
Because of the Orphan’s Heart sponsorship program, these children now have the resources and tools to excel in their schoolwork.
