India (MNN) — Are you willing to invest in the Kingdom of God? There’s no better time than the present.
Gary Bishop with Far Corners Missions says they’re building a safe home in India to protect street kids and introduce them to Christ. When finished, 250 children will call the facility “home.”
“That’s 250 little lives that were spared the probability of going into human trafficking, becoming sick and diseased out on the streets, on their own, and prematurely dying,” notes Bishop.
Investment Opportunity: India Orphanage
Since discovering their India Field Director’s “rescue operation” in 2011, Far Corners has been trying to provide a much-needed facility.
“We knew we had to do something; it’s not good for them–or the children–to have that many children living under one roof,” explains Bishop.
“It wasn’t long until we’d raised the money to buy the land, then also most of the money to build the building. [But] we just could not get approval from the government in India.”

Finally, after 2 1/2 years, there was a breakthrough: another Christian agency operating in Andhra Pradesh lacked the necessary resources to construct an orphanage. But this group had building approval from the government.
After learning about Far Corners’ plight, the group graciously transferred their building approval.
“The government approved that [transition]! We got all of our approvals in a line, bought the land, and were ready to start building,” Bishop says.
“We went back out to the contractor we had talked to 2 1/2 years earlier, and…the cost of construction had gone up by 35%.”
This meant another $68,000 would be needed to build the facility. Bishop and Far Corners aren’t deterred, though.
“We know God is going to be faithful,” states Bishop. “He’s moved us through what seemed to be just insurmountable opposition and delays.”

There have been many delays and great opposition, but now the end is in sight. Can you help Far Corners cross the finish line?
“In just a few days’ notice, we’ve already had people donate $3,000,” shares Bishop. “So, the money is starting to come in.”
